dc.description.abstract |
The savings and credit co-operative movement is the second critical co-operative organization in
Africa after agricultural marketing. Although there is a history of other types of co-operatives in
East Africa countries such as industrial, consumer and others, the savings and credit co-operative
organization has both the push and pull characteristics of the rest of the cooperative movement in
Africa, because, they facilitate both the inputs and outputs of all other cooperatives. |
